Stripped #25

"I guess saying I stripped for personal reasons would be the most accurate answer. I've never been satisfied with the narrow definition of beauty in our culture. I see so many beautiful people every day and I hate to think that other people don't find them beautiful as well. I used to have major self-esteem issues, but at some point in high school, I just started to realize that I was beautiful. I felt it, I felt it in a way that I knew had to be true, no matter what other people seemed to think. I am comfortable naked. When I'm alone, or at home with my family, or when I was with my lovers, I was always more comfortable being naked. I feel more like me when I don't have to think about what I'm wearing, and I wanted a picture taken of the 'me' I feel most like."

  1. I guess this culture has to learn to accept that there are many people of different shapes and sizes and it's normal...
